It's time for Obama-McCain or McCain-Obama.
It's early, I know. And, like many of you, I don't have a clue who I'll support for president. You probably don't care about my political rants, raves and leanings, so I'll spare you. But, you do care about the single most used word during this campaign: "change."
Listen to the debates, read the blogs, check out the mainstream press, GOP or Dem., they all use "change" in nearly every other sentence.
So, I say this: It's time for Obama-McCain or McCain-Obama. Sen. Barack Obama, if you're truly an independent Democrat and Sen. John McCain, a moderate Republican -- if either of you don't get your respective party's nomination -- then pick the other as your running mate.
Think about it. This would be real change. It would shake the system, and dare I say change the world. Both are engaging candidates, neither seems phony and both are fighters. Together they'd change politics as we know it. The oldest and youngest candidates, different parties and now on the same ticket.
Can it happen, I have no idea? Is it even legal to mix parties like this? Who cares?
True change comes from risk , often times blind risk. Obama-McCain 2008 or McCain-Obama 2008 should happen if either candidate truly wants and believes in "change."
