Do you remember exactly what you were doing on June 17, 1994?

Probably not.

But, if the question is "Where were you when O.J. Simpson was riding in the white Bronco?" you just might have an answer.

I've been watching ESPN's "30 in 30" documentary about the anniversary of the infamous chase, which took place on a Friday that also marked Arnold Palmer's final round at the U.S. Open, the New York Rangers' Stanley Cup victory parade, the opening of the FIFA World Cup in the United States and an NBA Finals Game 5 between the New York Knicks and Houston Rockets.

It was an incredible day in sports, to say the least.

And, it was a landmark day in journalism and popular culture.

Simpson's high-profile chase probably changed the way the media covered stories in a 24/7 environment. It ushered in the "let's go wall to wall even though we don't have any new information" era and probably ushered in the tabloid TV era.

The ESPN documentary brought back a slew of memories. Remember Robert Kardashian reading O.J.'s letter, which sounded like a suicide note? The low-speed chase that was watched by 95 million people? The swarm around Nicole Brown Simpson's home in Brentwood?

Remember where you were? I was cooking burgers with two friends (including the woman that would become my wife) in front of my apartment Downtown, recovering from a long road trip that saw me cover the Stanley Cup finals for the Milwaukee Journal.

I'm watching the documentary now. If you get a chance, check it out.
