Wisconsinites rejoice! Old Fashioned Fest returns on Friday, Sept. 30 at Turner Hall Ballroom, 1040 N. Vel R. Phillips Ave., from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.  During the spirited event, dozens of local vendors will share their version of this beloved cocktail and attendees will vote for their favorites.

Prizes will be awarded for the best brandy Old Fashioned, best bourbon Old Fashioned and overall winner.

Returning to defend their titles, Patti’s Power Plant and Boone & Crockett will face off against contenders including Clementine’s, Drinkin Buds, Balzac, Tavern Team, Turner Hall, The Pharmacy Bar and The Pivot Room – with more to be announced soon.

North Coast Jazz Quartet and Fred Astaire Dance Studio will provide live entertainment.

General admission tickets are $34 in advance or $42 at the door. These tickets allow guests to attend between 6 and 9 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring a muffin tin to hold numerous samples.

VIP tickets are $47 in advance or $55 at the door and offer early entry at 5 p.m., plus one free Best of Milwaukee ticket, one ultimate prize raffle ticket, a whisky barrel shot glass and a muffin tin to hold all their samples for $47 in advance, $55 at the door.

Designated drivers can join the party for only $10 with access to food and non-alcoholic beverages only.

Guests must be 21 years or older to attend Old Fashioned Fest.
