Louis C.K. "Hilarious" – This week, I streamed comedian Louis C.K.'s show, "Hilarious." It was taped in the fall of 2008 at The Pabst Theater in Milwaukee and released in January of 2011. The fact C.K.'s at The Pabst has nothing to do with the performance – he makes one reference to it being a beautiful theater – but otherwise, he could be performing anywhere. (I was hoping for a little more Milwaukee footage). However, the bits in this performance had me LOLing until I was PWMP. (Practically Wetting My Pants). Although some of the content I had heard before, like the "Everything's Amazing & Nobody's Happy," I found it equally as funny the second time around. I particularly liked his new commentary on divorce, biting ponies and his social criticism of the fat and the stupid. Dare I say it was hilarious? – Molly Snyder

The 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards – I love the Golden Globes for a couple of reasons. First, it's like the mini-Oscars, and I hit the edge of my seat in anticipation for both big awards seasons every year. Second, because it's notorious for awarding actors and films that often go on to win the coveted little gold men in February, I give the Globes my rapt attention to better my odds in my friends' Oscar pools. Third, it's a lot more fun to watch since the whole thing is designed to be less stuffy than the formal Academy Awards proceedings. This year I'll be watching with even more excitement to catch the returning antics and sharp and deliciously British humor of host Ricky Gervais.
