My husband, Jamie, was born and raised in Green Bay, so despite the fact he's not an "Up North" kind of guy in any other way, green and gold pulses through his veins. His family has four season tickets and he's gone to countless games, including Saturday's divisional playoff game between the Green Bay Packers and the Seattle Seahawks.

Unexpectedly, he was given a pre-game field pass, which was a first for this seasoned Packers backer. Here are a bunch of photos he snapped from the sidelines.

Prior to yesterday's game, Jamie said his past Packers highlights included going to the 1996 NFC Championship Game and seeing the Packers finally play Dallas at home -- and win -- in 1997.

Before that, when he was 12, young Jamie had a paper route, and Bart Starr was a customer on his route. While trying to collect payment on a Super Bowl Sunday afternoon, Starr invited him in for snacks and to watch the game.
