Looking to shore up an aging offensive line, the Packers Thursday selected Iowa tackle Bryan Bulaga with the 24th overall pick in the NFL Draft.

The 6-5 1/2, 314-pound Bulaga was the Big Ten Offensive Lineman of the year and a first team all-America selection by The Sporting News after starting 10 games at left tackle.

He missed the first three games with a thyroid issue, but developed late in the season to improve his draft stock.

The Packers have seven remaining selections: one second round (56), one third round (86), one fourth round (122), two fifth round (154 and 169), one sixth round (193) and one in the seventh.
