Excitement! At the new Bucks arena today as Panic! At The Disco was announced as the latest big concert booking for the new venue, coming to town on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2019.
The show is a part of the pop-punk band's "Pray for the Wicked" tour, in support of the group's upcoming new album of the same name, coming out on Friday, June 22.
Led by frontman Brendon Urie, Panic! At The Disco exploded into popularity in 2005 with its debut album, "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out," and its wildly popular single, "I Write Sins Not Tragedies." Since then, the band's released four albums and experimented with its sound all the while – bounding from the emo pop-punk of the mid-'00s to a more '60s-inspired rock sound for its sophomore record, "Pretty. Odd.," then exploring the space between those two sounds, and elsewhere, for its later albums.
Its latest effort, 2016's "Death of a Bachelor," scored the group's first Grammy nomination, tabbed for Best Rock Album.
Panic! At The Disco last played in Milwaukee at Summerfest in 2016, paired on the main stage alongside alt rockers Weezer. (That is, if you don't include the band's secret show at The Rave this past March.)
Tickets for the show will go on sale to the public beginning at noon on Friday, June 22. However, there will be a special pre-sale, starting on the same day at 9 a.m., for fans who pre-order "Pray for the Wicked" on the band's website before 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 21.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
