Wednesday night's installment of Fox's "American Idol" featured a 62-year-old guy named Larry Platt, who calls himself "General" and has a song commenting on the fashion sense of young men, "Pants on the Ground." (The show's age limit is 28).
"I have a horrible feeling that song could be a hit," said Simon Cowell.

Said "Idol" judge Randy Jackson after hearing the performance, "I'm gonna buy some belts after this.... yeah, lotta belts."

Tim Cuprisin is the media columnist for OnMilwaukee.com.
