Milwaukee writer and artist, Paul Druecke, published the first in a series of articles about Brew City art on Temporary Art Review, an international art blog, on Friday.
"Art Dividends," is part of a series of articles about the Milwaukee temporary art scene. In this installment, Druecke poses questions and provides responses from local directors, gallery owners and curators to "four simple questions" pertaining to public presentations.
Druecke met one of Temporary Art Review’s editors, Sarrita Hunn, during a residency he did years ago in Berlin Germany.
"We had talked about Temporary Art Review doing a series of articles on Milwaukee for a quite some time. Schedules finally aligned and I was happy to serve as point of contact for the series and also contribute a new essay," says Druecke.
Druecke, whose work was included in the 2014 Whitney Biennial, recently published a second book, "Life and Death On the Bluffs."
