Pecha Kucha, a live event featuring interesting people talking about interesting ideas, moves from the Hi-Hat Garage to a new location,  Sugar Maple, for its show tonight.

Tonight’s event, called "Pecha Kucha Gets Jazzed," starts at 7:30 p.m. with live Chicago jazz followed by presentations by Bridget Brave, Jason Kennedy, Taryn Roch, Tim Cigelske, Katie Martin, Ryan Schleicher and Erin Wolf.

Topics of discussion include sports, creative business approaches, death, local farming, new concepts of marriage and Styrofoam.

Each presenter shows 20 slides for 20 seconds each while sharing their thoughts.

"Informative reports are nice, but finding out what someone's idea is, what and how they think, is the important stuff," says organizer Jon Mueller.
