Update: Since this story was posted, the owners have informed OnMilwaukee.com that, due to pending electrical inspections, Penthouse on Broadway may not open until Tuesday, June 5. Please call ahead.
We told about Penthouse on Broadway in April, but have learned that this new Historic Third Ward martini lounge at 184 N. Broadway will officially open its doors on Saturday, June 2. The new lounge may open, unofficially, as early as Wednesday night.
The new space features four screens projecting movies, a grand piano, classic jazz, wireless Internet access and according to a news release, "a fresh unique approach to entertainment in a relaxed, yet classic, atmosphere which invites you to enjoy good conversation and martinis." Beer, Alterra coffee and others spirits, of course, also will be available.
Penthouse on Broadway will be open daily beginning at 11 a.m.
