{image1}Chicago alt.rocker Liz Phair plays at The Pabst Theatre, 144 E. Wells St., Wednesday, Oct. 26 at 8 p.m. The show is part of the tour for her upcoming disc, "Somebody's Miracle," due Oct. 4.

Phair, who was a leading light of independent rock in the '90s, drew a bevy of criticism for her self-titled Capitol Records CD in 2003, which was peppered with radio-friendly tunes and catchy melodies. The record did, however, crack the top 30 on Billboard's album chart.

Phair did an acoustic tour of America this summer and releases a single, "Everything to Me," in advance of the new disc.

Tickets for the Milwaukee show are $20.50 and go on sale on Friday, Aug. 19 at noon.
