This week Third Space Brewing kicks off its new Pints with a Purpose series of collaboration beers to raise funds for nonprofits.

The first beer – a hoppy wheat ale brewed with Kveik yeast – was made in partnership with Courage MKE, which will benefit from the beer’s sale, and will be released during the weekly Brewmaster's Toast on Friday, July 23 at 5 p.m. at the Menomonee Valley brewery, 1505 W. St. Paul Ave.

Third Space will donate 20 percent of all taproom sales from the release night along with 20 percent of the continuing sales of the collab brew to Courage MKE.

Brewed on Third Space's five-barrel system, the brews will only be available on draft in the taproom.

Courage MKE – which offers housing, resources and services to displaced and homeless LGBTQ+ youth – will be on hand for the event to explain its mission to customers.

“The goal of the program is to raise funds and awareness for organizations doing great things in our community,” says Third Space Brewing’s Home Market Manager and the Chair of its Community Outreach Committee Nick Cusatis. “Helping our community and creating a welcoming Third Space for all is at the core of Third Space Brewing.

“We have designed the Pints with a Purpose Program to make a positive and lasting impact on local organizations by dedicating a tap line to their cause over a three-month period and by throwing a great release party around the fun collaboration beer that each organization will help us create.”
