PrideFest Milwaukee announced this morning its batch of headliners for their annual three-day festival, the nation's largest showcase of LGBT talent.
The festival opens June 6 with comedian and long-time Academy Awards head writer Bruce Vilanch. Joining him on opening day is famed drag performer Chad Michaels, who finished as runner up on the fourth season of "RuPaul's Drag Race" and the champion of "RuPaul's All Stars Drag Race."
The following night is headlined by country singer/songwriter Steve Grand, Mary Lambert – most famous for being featured on the chorus on Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' gay rights single "Same Love" – hip-hop and bounce artist Big Freedia and "I Try" R&B/soul singer Macy Gray.
PrideFest Milwaukee closes out on June 8 with a night of comedy, featuring comediennes Sandra Bernhard and Lisa Lampanelli.
Tickets for PrideFest Milwaukee go on sale Friday, March 14, with single-day tickets costing $13 in advance and $16 at the gate. A $30, three-day weekend pass is also available through June 6. Festival goers also have the option to add an extra $1 to their ticket purchases to support the American Civil Liberties Union and its ongoing fight for marriage equality in Wisconsin.
PrideFest Milwaukee runs June 6-8 at the Henry W. Meier Festival Park.
