A cozy spot built for noshing and conversation in West Allis is closing its doors.
Public Table, 5835 W. National Ave. in West Allis, announced today on Facebook that it will be closing its doors on Saturday, Dec. 24 after a final brunch service.
"You! Public Table Nation!
Johnny and the team of fantastic individuals who made Public Table come to life. We love you are biggest supporters more than you will know.
Unfortunately, we will be closing our doors permanently for regular service this Saturday after brunch. Please come in tonight, Alyse and Johnny will be pumping it out the PT way. We will have one last Public Table bash next week! So stay tuned! –Johnny!"
The restaurant, which opened in August of 2018, made a splash with its focus on sociability, community and local ingredients. A partnership with Hunger Task Force saw to it that money from diners who could afford a plate went back to assist those who didn't.
