Raised Grain Brewing Company, the brand new brewery and tasting room in Waukesha, opened its doors to the public this week.

The brewery, located at 2244 W. Blue Mound Rd., currently has eight brews on tap in its snazzy tap room, which – thanks to three big screen televisions – is the perfect spot to catch the weekend football game.

Options include Kilted Kolsch, Ah Ha IPA, Birdseye Belgian Tripel, Six Stone Scotch Ale, Spring City Amber, Paradocs Red, Roggenaut Rye and the seasonal tap, Black Walnut Belgian Imperial Stout. Four more beer varieties will be added in the coming weeks.

The brewery also offers growlers to go. For now, you can bring your own growler; but soon you’ll also be able to purchase both 32- or 64-ounce glass and double-walled stainless steel growlers, which are perfect for keeping your beer cool during transport.

Raised Grain apparel, in a variety of styles and colors, is also currently available both at the brewery and online.

The taproom is open Wednesday and Thursday from 4 to 10 p.m., Fridays from 4 p.m. to midnight, Saturdays from noon to midnight and Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m., with extended hours during game days.  This weekend, Raised Grain will open at 11 a.m. on Saturday and 11:30 a.m. on Sunday.
