Those of you patiently waiting for Ray's MTB to open can finally stop spinning your wheels and hit the trails.

After some initial delays which postponed their original grand opening, Ray's Indoor Mountain Bike Park is set to open tomorrow at noon.

The park is hitting the ground running with normal business hours, which gives riders a chance to check out the park from noon to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.

Plans are also in the works to reschedule an official grand opening celebration event.

Ray's MTB is Milwaukee's first indoor bike park and the second location for the company, based in Cleveland, Ohio. The park offers a variety of trails and obstacles in a climate-controlled environment. A range of admission prices and passes are available, in addition to equipment and bike rentals.

Contrary to her natural state of being, Renee Lorenz is a total optimist when it comes to Milwaukee. Since beginning her career with OnMilwaukee.com, her occasional forays into the awesomeness that is the Brew City have turned into an overwhelming desire to discover anything and everything that's new, fun or just ... "different."

Expect her random musings to cover both the new and "new-to-her" aspects of Miltown goings-on, in addition to periodically straying completely off-topic, which usually manifests itself in the form of an obscure movie reference.
