If we ever needed to get ourselves recombobulated, 2020 is that time.

So, it's good news that Milwaukee Brewing Company, 1128 N. 9th St., is landing its limited seasonal Recombobulation Russian Imperial Stout this week.

The beer has appeared taken flight before – as has a Recombobulation Imperial Dark Lager (though that one is NOT back now) – but has come home again for the holidays.

"I haven't tasted it yet, but according to the folks at MKE Brewing, "This recipe's decadent flavors may remind you of a popular holiday treat: the Bourbon-Chocolate Truffle. With a warm, smooth flavor that comes from our bourbon barrel aging process, Recombobulation has a rich cocoa aroma and a hint of raspberry sweetness.

"Coming in at 9.6% ABV, this full-bodied stout is the perfect choice for this time of the year!"

The name, of course, is a nod to Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport's world-famous Recombobulation Area that allows folks to get themselves back together after passing through security.

The stout is expected to arrive Friday, Dec. 11 at the 9th Street Taproom at noon. Four-packs are $18.99.

Pre-orders will be taken at the website, Watch the Milwaukee Brewing Co. Facebook for the link this week.

Then, you can head over, collect your bags, I mean beer, and get yourself recombobulated.
