A rash of tagging has struck Water Street this week. Billboards, for sale signs and redroom, 1875 N Humboldt Ave., took the hardest hits.

The funky lounge with deep red walls and cool diffused lighting had its entire north side graffitied. Perched at Water and Humbodt, the damage is highly visible to drivers, pedestrians, residents and patrons at the many neighborhood restaurants and taverns.

Hopefully, the above photo will help identify the vandals.
