The Great Milwaukee Summer is HERE! Your guide to what you'll be doing, where you'll be drinking, who you'll be hearing and how you'll be getting a sweet tan this summer is on OnMilwaukee. The Great Milwaukee Summer guide is brought to you by Geis Garage Doors and Peoples State Bank

The pop-up “Brady Beach” – located on Warren Street between Nomad World Pub and Club Brady – will once again host an afternoon of reggae music and fun on Sunday, Sept. 1.

DJ Marcus Doucette kicks off the good vibes at 1 p.m. Sunday. Live music from JD Rankin and the Solomon Royals follows from 4 to 7 pm. The Nomad kitchen staff will serve a Caribbean BBQ for the end of summer celebration.

“We are excited to bring some live music, dancing and a little fun to the ‘beach’ to celebrate the holiday weekend on Brady Street,” says Nomad co-owner Mike Eitel.

The popular pilot program for activated streets started in 2020 in a partnership with the two adjacent taverns and the City of Milwaukee.

“It’s a really fun way to cap off a long summer of events and sets the tone for events going well into fall,” says Eitel.
