The Marshall Building is happening.

Last month, I reported that the Too Much Metal Showroom was opening in the the Buffalo Street building and recently, The Rima Art Gallery announced it was moving onto the third floor of the Marshall Building and is planning a June 1 opening. The gallery will relocate to the Third Ward from Mequon.

Rima Art Gallery will host an opening reception on Friday, June 3, from 5 p.m to 10 p.m. This is a free event.

"Bob DeToro, the property manager at the Marshall Building, is doing an amazing job attracting new, small galleries to his building. It's really becoming THE spot to be if you want a small studio space or gallery," says Ruth Lawson, of the Historic Third Ward Association.

Rima will be open to the public on Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and by appointment.
