If you are broke, frugal or just a sucker for gratuitous booze, head to Rosie’s Waterworks, 1111 N. Water St., on your birthday and enjoy an evening of drinking alcohol for the low, low price of absolutely free.

No, the sky is not the limit, but if you present the proper identification -- and it’s the actual date of your birthday -- the barkeep will award you with a special mug that you can have filled with as much Miller Light, Bud Light or rail mixers as your gag reflex will allow.

Your friends will get drink specials, but don’t get generous with your bottomless cup of birthday libations otherwise according to a Rosie’s bartender, "You’ll lose it."

Anywhere else in Milwaukee that lets you drink for free on your birthday, or for any other reason?
