Excellent homemade pasta and hearty Italian fare made with organic recipes are the signature items coming from Andy Ruggeri's kitchen, located next to the Carpenter's Pub and Wooden Eagle in downtown Delafield. The new "old" two-story Colonial Building that now resembles a Tuscan farmhouse, Ruggeri's has been turning the tables frequently since they opened their doors this past May.

Recommended appetizers include chargrilled rosemary skewered shrimp and stuffed portobella mushrooms. Try the grilled asparagus and prosciutto pizza or opt for a hearty bowl of homemade pasta from a list that includes fusilli with fresh tomatoes, rigatoni putanesca, fettuccini with clams, and lasagna with sausage or meatballs. Other entrees include eggplant parmegna, chicken cacciatore and Wisconsin organic veal. Hearty soups and salads also complete the menu at this casual, comfortable restaurant.

A small bar offers a modest selection of beer, California and Italian wines.
