Starting this Friday at 5 p.m., FM102/1 will launch a 24-hour "radiothon" called #SaveOurStages. The mission is to raise funds for Milwaukee's local independent music venues The Pabst Theater Group, The Rave/Eagles Club, Shank Hall, The Cactus Club and The Cooperage.

During the radiothon, FM 102/1 will broadcast live for the duration of a day from the empty stages of the venues. There will also be live performances, an online silent auction and ongoing interviews with local musicians and celebrities about their favorite concert experiences in these venues that are struggling due to COVID-19.

#SaveOurStages auction items include an autographed guitar from blink-182, a signed poster from a twenty one pilots show at The Rave / Eagles Club, an autographed ukulele from AJR, Tame Impala autographed vinyl, a Cooperage boat package and much more. The auction is live and accessible here.

The event includes exclusive performances by The Head and the Heart, Kennyhoopla and Friday Pilot's Club as well as live interviews with Neon Trees, Juda and The Lion, Chvrches, The Verve Pipe, Silversun Pickups and more.
