Move over, Milwaukee Art Museum and Milwaukee Public Market: There's a new selfie destination coming to take over Brew City.
As first reported by JSOnline, the selfie museum brand Selfie WRLD (because vowels are for olds) will invade your Instagram feeds and social media timelines with its new Brookfield location, 16700 W. Blue Mound Rd., No. 400, opening Saturday, June 12.
With almost two dozen locations scattered across the country, Selfie WRLD creates a photo op fantasy land featuring more than 20 colorful and flashy interactive installations throughout 16 themed rooms ready to glow up your 'Gram.
While many of the rooms will be rotated and updated quarterly to keep up with new trends and to keep things fresh, according to JSOnline, some of the initial themed rooms will include a classic diner, a mirror-floored cloud room, a cheeky laundry room theme and – because this is Wisconsin after all – a cheese room as well as a Harley-Davidson installation. Almost all feature glowing neon-written messages, props, Ring lights and photo stands to complete your perfect post-able photo.
Tickets for an hour-long selfie session cost $20 for general admission and $15 kids ages 12 and younger. After its grand opening on June 12, Selfie WRLD will be open Tuesdays through Fridays from 2-9 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. and Sundays from 1-7 p.m.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
