Sendik's, 4027 N. Oakland Ave., is closing.

The owners, John Nehring and Anne Finch-Nehring, made the announcement on Saturday on Facebook:

A new two-story Metro Market opened in 2016 just next to this Sendik's store.  The couple also owns the Sendik's at 2643 N. Downer Ave. and Groppi's Market, 1441 E. Russell Ave., in Bay View.
