Last week, OnMilwaukee reported that Sherwin Hughes left his post at WNOV where he was the host of longtime political talk show, "The Forum." Today Resistance Radio, WRRD 1510 AM, announced the station would host Hughes' new show of the same name.

The Forum, which launches Monday, Aug. 13, will air Monday through Friday mornings from 8 to 11 a.m.

During the program, Hughes will foster conversations with guests and callers and talk predominantly about politics.

"Sherwin will be an immediate asset to this radio station. He is smart and insightful, and he makes great radio," says Mike Crute, CEO of WRRD. "Resistance Radio will continue to offer the most political talk line-up in Wisconsin."

WRRD is located at the Resistance Radio studios at 1224 E. Brady St. on Milwaukee’s East Side.

"Lebron is going to the Lakers and Sherwin is going to WRRD," says Hughes.
