The coronavirus pandemic has changed our everyday life, but it doesn't need to change who we are. So, in addition to our ongoing coverage of the coronavirus, OnMilwaukee will continue to report on cool, fun, inspiring and strange stories from our city and beyond. Stay safe, stay healthy, stay informed and stay joyful. We're all in this together. #InThisTogetherMKE

Famous Smokeshop, 1213 E. Brady St., has temporarily transformed into a general store during the coronavirus outbreak.

The store, which is carry-out only, offers select grocery items, liquor and paper items, including toilet paper and paper towel.

Don's Diner in Walker's Point and Three Lions Pub in Shorewood underwent similar conversions, offering groceries and essentials in a store setting.

The hours of operation are – seven days a week – from noon to 9 p.m.
