Welcome to a weekly segment called "Social Circle." It's OnMilwaukee.com's first article that's truly a group effort between readers, social networkers and the OnMilwaukee.com editors.

Every Monday, we ask a question via Facebook and Twitter and then post the responses from our Facebook "likers" and Twitter followers in the Thursday column. Well-known Milwaukee movers and shakers will contribute, too.

It would be an understatement to say that Brewers mania is at an all-time high. And Packers Fever, well, that's an ongoing condition for thousands upon thousands of Wisconsin football fans.

However, what if you were able to choose a Packers Super Bowl win or the chance for the Brewers to clinch the World Series? Which would you choose? Here's what the OnMilwaukee.com Social Circle picked.

Robin Barry: "Packers all the way. That team is far more talented than the Brewers. Besides the baseball season is ridiculously long and the whole series playoff concept is lame."

Michael Buehler: "The Brewers. It's harder to compete financially in baseball with how the system is set up. Plus they haven't been nearly as successful as the Packers over time. I vote Brewers this time! They're due some love!"

Geoff Carter: "The Badgers. They'll be in the running for the NCAA national championship this year."

Sam Coutas: "You crazy. This town would burn if the Brewers won the World Series. Fire excites me."

Megan Ann Coultra: "Packers in the Super Bowl. There is no history and tradition as rich as The Packers. It has been too long for the Crew, but I love my GB Packers."

Mary Haramis: "It would be awesome for the Brewers to win the World Series and the Packers to win back the Super Bowl."

Phil Kirby: "Probably the Brewers World Series. They haven't won a World Series in a while now."

Tammy Kolbe: "End of either season is good for me – I'm a sports widow."

Dan Franke: "Brewers. At least they are getting some national coverage. I just wish they could've done it when I was still living in Milwaukee. I've watched about 150 games this year on MLB.tv."

Kim Marshall Cianciola: "Brewers always!"

Patti Gorman: "The Pack."

Kendall Gould: "I'm with you on that. I'm more of a Packer fan than a Brewer fan, but I think after 29 years, they (the Brewers) deserve a little better coverage than that."

Kristl Mueller Klewein: "Go Brewers go!"

Deb Kramsky: "PACK."

Dave Mikolajek: "Brewers, because they never have."

Zee Monstah: "Neither. I just want Arsenal to win SOMETHING this year."

Melissa Musante: "World Series. I really like baseball. :)"

Jeff Sherman: "Bucks and Marquette. Hoops."

Jen Snyder: "Brew Crew!"

Bret Spangenberg: "Brewers."

Ken Tribolini: "The Packers excite me more, but I am very disappointed in the media coverage, or lack of it that the Brewers get. On a Sunday when the Packers play, every radio station within my listening area has the Packers, but not a one can I find with the Brewers. Watching the sports news at night they say very little about the Brewers. Come On! This is big sports news for Wisconsinites! We won our division! Don't get me wrong I love my Pack, I just want to see the Brew Crew get some equal media coverage."

Ajay Wadhwa: "If the Brewers were to win the World Series, it would be the greatest sports' day in the history of human existence. I live and die with my beloved Brew Crew. I definitely wish the Packers good luck, but truthfully, I am not that passionate about football. A Brewers World Series championship would be a lifelong dream come true. GO BREWERS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Autumn Whitlow: "Brewers. 'Cuz they have a better name."
