Every few years, there's a new trend in bar themes. Martini bars, wine bars, vodka lounges and bars with a zillion beer choices all have their day in the sun. But what about martini bars specifically? Milwaukee welcomed a smattering of swanky 'tini lounges during the past decade, some of which are still around, a couple of which didn't make it.

In your opinion, are martini bars still cool or are they tragically passé? Sound-off, readers!

Martini bars are still hot. Martinis are timeless, and, consequently, so are martini bars. They will always make a great special occasion destination, whether a couple celebrates an anniversary, Valentine's Day or just a romantic night out.

Martini bars are over. Martini bars were popular in the '90s, along with fads like swing dancing and Tae Bo. There are some nice martini lounges in Milwaukee that are still worth visiting, but the martini bar craze has been over for ages.
