On Sept. 20, the East Side Business Improvement District launches its second annual Tomato Romp, which coincides with a Bloody Mary competition. Both events take place in and around the Beans and Barley parking lot.

The first 200 people to register at the East Side Open Market can participate in the Tomato Romp caged battle, starting in the mid-afternoon.

In her article about this event, reporter Maureen Post referred to it as a "pulpy, seedy throw down."

If you could throw a tomato at one person, square in the face (without injuring them, of course), who would it be?

We’re breaking from our usual Sunday Sound-off format this week, and here are a few categories of people to get your (tomato) juices flowing.

Politicians. Scott Walker? Tom Barrett? Sarah Palin? Barack Obama?

Radio / television personalities. Brad Hicks? Howard Stern? Kramp and Adler? Dave and Carole?

Musicians. The Love Monkeys? Amy Winehouse? Sigmund Snopek? The Five Card Studs?

Who else deserves a tomato in the face?
