Wisconsin election officials were predicting a record turnout last week for the state's fall primary election.
The actual numbers, though, weren't quite as high. About 850,000 ballots were cast on Tuesday, representing less than 20 percent of the state's eligible voters.
Despite being one of the primary goals of our founding fathers, many of us pass on our privilege of voting, even in Wisconsin where registration is simple.
