People who lived in Milwaukee for many years often remark how much the climate has changed. Back in the day, spring was longer and winter was shorter but snowier. (Last year we saw a lot of snow, but in the recent past, we had many winters with very little of the white stuff.)
But what about autumn? Has this season changed at all in Milwaukee, or is it -- in the words of David Byrne -- "same as it ever was?"
Sound-off, Milwaukee!
Autumn in Milwaukee is the same. It's always been my favorite season because fall in Milwaukee is warm, sunny and visually gorgeous. Plus, all the bugs are gone. It's Milwaukee's best season.
Autumn in Milwaukee has changed. I remember fall being different when I was younger. It was even warmer in September and October than it is today, a true "Indian summer." It's still nice, but the temperatures are lower now than in previous years.
