Although some of us are sick of hearing about the economy, bear with us when we ask this week's sound-off question: Will you spend less this holiday season?

Let us know what your thoughts are on holiday finances. We want to know if there will be fewer gifts under your tree or next to your menorah this year.

I will spend the same this year. I am optimistic about the future of this country, and have no problem spending as much -- if not more -- as I did last year. I admit I have been fortunate and have not suffered financial hardships, despite the harsh economy.

I will spend less this year. Because of job instability, stock market loss and / or the high price of groceries, I am forced to spend less this year on holiday gifts. I am trying to focus on holiday spirit instead of holiday shopping.
