Legalize it! It doesn’t make sense that alcohol is legal, but pot is not. Getting drunk is a lot more altering then getting stoned, and yet booze consumption is not only legal, it’s celebrated in our culture. No one has ever died from smoking pot and it doesn’t generate violence like other drugs. The legalization of marijuana would be good for farmers, cancer / AIDS patients and recreational users who do not deserve to go to jail.
Keep it illegal. Marijuana is a drug, and it's a gateway to harsher indulgences. It’s a bad idea to legalize pot because it would be easier for teenagers to get a hold of it, which could lead them to make terrible life decisions. Plus, pot makes you unmotivated, disorganized, slow and stupid.
