Are you more of a Pick 'n Save person or an Outpost enthusiast? What about Aldi? Koppa's? Jewel? Metro Market? Beans and Barley? El Rey? Piggly Wiggly? Sendik's? Or, are you just counting the days until Whole Foods or Trader Joe's open? Sound-off now, Milwaukee!

E-mail us at soundoff@staff.onmilwaukee.com and if picked, we'll post your response next Sunday. Only submissions that include your full name and where you live will be considered.

Last week's question: What is Milwaukee's ugliest building?

Hands-down and bar none, it's the Reuss Federal Building. It's always stuck out like a big, blue sore thumb, a modern eyesore among classic counterparts. Nobody else I know likes it, either.

I would have to say that the Wher building on Greenfield and 894 is the ugliest building, but Curtain Hall at UWM is a close second!
Rick Stieghorst
Brookfield

The Downtown post office is really ugly.

Lalumiere Hall on the Marquette Campus. It looks like a honeycomb.

I worked at the Hilton for a couple of years and over and over again I get the question “what is that ugly blue building?” That’s right, the ugliest building downtown is the Federal Building ... The downtown scene is filled with beautiful old architecture and this building sticks out like a sore thumb.
