It will take Jerry Stackhouse a little while to get back into game shape and learn the nuances of Scott Skiles' offensive sets, but in the meantime, Stackhouse has already found a way to help the Bucks.

It's a little quiet for me," Stackhouse said of the Bucks' locker room. "I'm going to try and liven them up a little bit and get them going ... get that bench going.

"Those types of things can really carry the guys when they're on the floor."

The Bucks didn't sign Stackhouse to be a cheerleader, though. He was added to the team to replace the scoring lost when Michael Redd was lost to injury earlier this month.

The 35-year-old made his debut Wednesday night in the Bucks' 113-107 victory over Toronto. He played 17 minutes with three points (on 1-of-5) shooting but with four assists and five rebounds -- four of them on the offensive end.

His points came on a three-pointer from the corner that gave Milwaukee a 89-87 lead with nine minues to play.

The team added Stackhouse to score points, but he's also content setting up his teammayes, too.

"If I can command attention with the ball, I'm going to try and get opportunities for the other guys," Stackhouse said.

Admittedly, it'll take some time for him to get his conditioning up to speed after being out of basketball for the better part of a year.

Stackhouse appeared in just 10 games last season with Dallas, averaging 4.2 points and 1.7 rebounds per game. To stay active, he'd been working out with the team at North Gwinett High School near Atlanta.

"It was good," Stackhouse said. "But high schoolers and Chris Bosh ... there's a just a little bit of a difference.

"I'll find my shot and hopefully, get some opportunities."

Davis signing on hold: The Brewers were expecting Doug Davis to arrive in Milwaukee Friday morning to undergo a routine physical, but travel problems put that on hold. The team sent out a press release Friday afternoon making an official announcement.

Ticket prices go up: The Packers announced Friday that they will raise ticket prices by an average of $9 for the 2010 season, the franchise's first ticket increase since 2007. The average price of a ticket last season was $64.48 (excluding club and luxury suite seats) which the club says was 30th in the 32-team National Football League.

Cavs lose Mo: The Eastern Conference-leading Cleveland Cavaliers will be without point guard Mo Williams for at least a month. Williams, who played for the Bucks from 2004-'08, suffered a sprained left shoulder. He's the Cavs' second-leading scorer behind LeBron James and since going to Cleveland before last season, had played in 124 of a possible 125 games.
