The inaugural Holiday Marketplace at Saint Kate, 139 E. Kilbourn Ave., will take place on Saturday, Dec. 11 and Sunday, Dec. 12 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event offers a mix of unique gift shopping along with live music, drinks and community.

More than 70 local artists, makers and vendors will sell their creations in the ambient ARC Theatre inside the hotel. The sellers will vary depending on the day.

"Saint Kate is the ideal spot for this event because it's fresh and gorgeous and has an extensive art collection of its own," says Holiday Marketplace Coordinator Renee Bebeau.

The hotel's lobby bar will be open during the event, serving classic and seasonal beverages as well as hosting live music.

"People will see one-of-a-kind gift items that they won't find anywhere else," says Bebeau.
