The Milwaukee Brewers today named Stan Kyles as bullpen coach. The announcement was made by Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Melvin. The hire completes the 2009 coaching staff.

In addition, Kyles has coaching experience in the farm systems of Chicago-NL (1992-93, 1997-2000) and Colorado (1994-96). As a former fourth round draft selection of the Chicago Cubs in 1979, Kyles spent 11 seasons as a pitcher in the minor leagues with Chicago (1979-83), Oakland (1984-87), Los Angeles Angels (1988), and split the 1989 season between San Francisco and Milwaukee.

Kyles is currently coaching in the Dominican Winter League with Azucareros Del Este.

The Brewers 2009 coaching staff is now complete, which includes Manager Ken Macha, Bench Coach Willie Randolph, Hitting Coach Dale Sveum, Pitching Coach Bill Castro, First-Base Coach Ed Sedar, Third-Base Coach Brad Fischer, and Kyles.
