A winter storm is on approach, so let's think about summer instead – and to help, the summer staple that is the Wisconsin State Fair announced a new main stage act for its 2023 edition: retro smooth rockers REO Speedwagon, who will headline on Thursday, Aug. 10.
The "Can't Fight This Feeling" and "Take It On the Run" hitmakers will be joined during their State Fair headliner gig by special guest opener Edwin McCain of "I'll Be" fame.
Tickets for the REO Speedwagon main stage show will go on sale beginning Friday, March 3 at 10 a.m. at the Wisconsin State Fair's website. Seating for the show is all reserved, with tickets costing $45, $50 and $55.
REO Speedwagon joins Alabama, Jeff Dunham, For King + Country, Kidz Bop and Trace Adkins as State Fair's headliners for 2023. Stay tuned to OnMilwaukee for more main stage acts and State Fair updates as the late summer spectacular gets closer.
As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
