STURGEON BAY – Take a trip to Door County for the Steel Bridge Songfest, which takes over the town of Sturgeon Bay June 7-10 this year.

The eighth annual music festival will host over 130 local and international bands at 12 indoor and outdoor venues, including Milwaukee's The Delta Routine, Favorite Shape Triangle, The Whiskeybelles, The Form, Miss Meaghan Owens, Mike Mangione and The Freddie Lee Band.

This year's festival highlights include free evening concerts Thursday, June 7 as part of Door County Appreciation Night, music pub crawls June 7-9 and the free Two-Day Outdoor Festival at The Holiday Music Motel. Other promotions, including the week-long "Construction Zone" songwriting marathon, are also scheduled.

Citizens for Our Bridge, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and preserving the historical significance of Sturgeon Bay's Michigan Street Bridge, once again hosts this volunteer event.
