Steinhafels is excited to debut a new Sponsored Content feature with our partners at OnMilwaukee. We will feature a different "Before and After" design project each month. These are a great way to see what our Decorating Solutions Interior Designers are capable of … and how various concepts could apply to your home.

We kick things off with Jenii Kluver, a talented designer at our Oak Creek store. She has plenty of fresh, new ideas to turn your house into the home of your dreams!

For this project, Jenni explains, "I really wanted to completely transform this space. My client has four kids, and she mentioned how none of them ever want to spend time in their extra living room, so my main goal was to make it more inviting to them."

"My client also mentioned that she felt like she had to stick with the colors that were in her fireplace (mauve-pink colors, tans, taupes) and that was restricting her from exploring outside of the jewel tones. Once I showed her that she had a lot more freedom with her colors, the entire project took off."

Jenii goes on to say, "This project was really fun because it was such a transformation in the end. We replaced their old carpet with a beautiful blue/gray tile, painted the whole space one color and updated all of the furniture and accessories. We did end up reusing her dining table, but we reupholstered the chairs. She also plans on refinishing the table top."

As you can see, the room looked nice before, but Jenii says her client now has that "WOW" factor when she walks through her front door everyday, and that is what truly makes Jenii happy to do this job!

We are excited to share many more Before and After projects in the months to come! You can learn more about the Decorating Solutions program and check out various projects from many of our designers across the Milwaukee, Madison and Appleton areas here
