Come out to Steny’s Tavern & Grill in Walker’s Point this Memorial Day weekend for a block party loaded with live music from multiple local classic rock bands, a bags tournament and, of course, lots of booze.

Celebrate the start of spring with traditional block party food such as burgers, hot dogs, mozzarella sticks and cheese curds provided by Saz’s State House Restaurant. Meanwhile, the first band to perform on Saturday, Saving Savana, was voted into the top 15 best local Milwaukee bands by Milwaukee A-List, playing music spanning across genres, from country to rock and pop.

Where: Steny's Tavern & Grill

Hours: Saturday, May 26 and Sunday, May 27, 3 p.m. to midnight

Admission and parking: Free admission, with parking available on the street

Highlights: Don’t miss the World’s Largest Bloody Mary Toast, which is seeking to break the Guinness World Record. And even if it doesn't, all proceeds from the toast will benefit the American Cancer Society. Craft beer samplings from Milwaukee Brewing Company will also be available on a micro-bus airstream trailer – and be sure to sign up at Steny's website for Sunday's competitive bags tournament. There will be five pairs of bags game boards and around 20 teams in a double elimination tournament, so bring your friends and get ready to battle it out.
