Suite Milwaukee, 1103 N. Old World 3rd St. converts to a smoke-free establishment beginning this Friday, April 30 at 9 p.m.

The move is the latest in a series by local bars and nightclubs that are going smoke-free in advance of the statewide smoking ban that goes into effect July 5.

OnMilwaukee.com is a presenting partner of Suite's "Going Smoke-Free" party on Friday that features free Grey Goose vodka cocktails from 9 to 10:30 p.m., Chicago DJ KJ and electronic violinist Edith.

"We are extremely excited to be going smoke-free. We've always been progressive in the services we offer our clientele and this is just more proof of that," said Angela Damiani, sales and events manager at Suite.
