It's been about two and a half weeks since Summerfest dropped its headliner lineup for 2023. Well ... most of its headliner lineup, at least, as the Big Gig today announced another big name for its 2023 edition: Ne-Yo, who will take the BMO Pavilion stage on Saturday, July 8.
The "Time of Our Lives," "Miss Independent" and "She Knows" pop R&B crooner joins The Avett Brothers, Elvis Costello & The Imposters, Ava Max, Earth Wind & Fire, Lauren Daigle, Cypress Hill, Styx, Cheap Trick and more on the BMO Pavilion's 2023 headliner schedule. The Big Gig also added Rayven to its BMO Pavilion lineup, taking the stage at 7:30 p.m. and serving as an opening act for Ne-Yo's 9:30 p.m. concert.
Reserved seating tickets for Ne-Yo's BMO Pavilion Summerfest show will go on sale beginning on Friday, April 14 at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster, the Big Gig's website or in person at the Summerfest box office. However, free general admission seats for Big Gig shows at the BMO Pavilion will also be available on a first-come, first-served basis on the days of the concerts. As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
