Shopping at Summerfest this year will include new and unique opportunities, including a Shop Local Market, more minority owned businesses and an online shopping option.
Overall, nearly 100 vendors will offer clothing, accessories, jewelry, artwork and déco along with interactive experiences such as face painting, caricature art, henna, tie dye and more.
Vendors will work from four shopping areas – North Market, South Market, the Artisan Makers Market and the Shop Local Market – or throughout the festival grounds.
The new Shop Local Market, located between the Generac Power Stage and Miller Lite Oasis, will showcase the wares of 20 Wisconsin artists and small businesses. Items include Milwaukee-themed pieces, upcycled clothing, natural body products, textiles and macrame, original artwork and more.
Plus, as part of BMO EMpower, BMO sponsored 11 minority-owned businesses to receive funds to help support their first year as a Summerfest Marketplace vendor. Visit the BMO Harris Pavilion page for the list of these vendors.
Summerfest also launched a new web page, Summerfest Shopping, where shoppers can learn more about each marketplace vendor and browse products, categories and locations for the Marketplace vendors.
