For the 43rd year running, Taste of Milwaukee is scheduled to take place at the Marcus Performing Arts Center, 929 N. Water St., on Thursday, March 6 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

During the event, guests can indulge in a smorgasbord of bites from local restaurants, live music, raffles, a wine pull and a silent auction. At the end of the evening, guests will vote for their favorite restaurant dish with one lucky restaurant honored with the Best Dish Award. Last year’s winner, Saffron, took home the award for their Chicken Katsu Bao, which was subsequently added to their menu.

Proceeds from the event support both individuals and their families served by Broadscope Disability Services' independent living, respite care and employment services.

This year, the list of participating restaurants includes a wide range of eateries including:

  • Davians
  • Del Valle Oaxaqueño & La Casa del Pan 2
  • Elegant Eats LLC by Chef Harley
  • Flour Girl & Flame
  • Ikigai
  • La Cocina del Sur Empanadas Bar
  • Las Virellas Food Truck

  • Milwaukee Sail Loft
  • PO'MANZ Food
  • Saffron
  • SALA - Modern Sicilian Dining

“At Broadscope program events, we always make it a priority to sit down and share a meal together as a community, which helps foster a sense of belonging,’ notes Broadscope Executive Director Mary Schinkowitch. “Taste of Milwaukee is such a special event because we are able to have dinner with community members while supporting the important services that Broadscope provides.”

Tickets are currently available for purchase online with individual tickets for $125 per person and couples tickets for $225; tickets include guaranteed seating and unlimited food sampling from participating restaurants.  Standing room tickets are also available for $100 per person.
