Late last month, Tazza Pizzeria, 5010 W. Vliet St., closed its doors.
Still donning the giant coffee cup on the roof, a remnant of former occupant Milwaukee Coffee Company, Tazza Pizzeria fell victim to the tough economic times and sliced its last pizza.
Owner and Washington Heights resident Matt Bohlmann opened the neighborhood restaurant in August 2007. The space is currently unoccupied.
