For the sixth straight year, October is Dining Month on OnMilwaukee.com, presented by Concordia University. All month, we're stuffed with restaurant reviews, delectable features, chef profiles and unique articles on everything food, as well as the winners of our "Best of Dining 2012."

"America's Test Kitchen, public television's most-watched cooking show, will make a stop in Milwaukee as host Christopher Kimball and on-air test cook Bridget Lancaster set up shop in the Milwaukee Public Market Palm Garden Thursday, Oct. 18 at 6 p.m.

The duo will hold taste tests and demonstrations during a public cooking event beginning at 8 p.m. The special evening will include audience participation, a preview of "America's Test Kitchen" and season five of "Cook's Country."

Kimball and Lancaster will also autograph copies of the new "Cook's Illustrated – The Science of Good Cooking Cookbook."

Tickets are $50 and include a one-year Milwaukee Public Television membership. Tickets are $45 for current MPTV members. Cookbooks can also be ordered for $35 when making a reservation.
