If you were a fan of the kang curry or pud Thai at Thai Lotus at 3800 W. National Ave., you have a few more days to get your fix.

Owner Raphael Sivongsa announced today that Silver City location will close on Saturday, May 20 after nearly 12 years.

Sivongsa noted that the decision to close was a difficult one, but says he hopes to find another, smaller location in the area where he can reopen and focus primarily on carry-out and delivery.

In the meantime, carry out is available at Thai Lotus's Riverwest location at 1000 E. Locust St., which opened in April.

If you choose to pay a visit this week, hours for Thai Lotus are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
